Emergency Appeal for Gaza, Syria, and Yemen
Brothers and Sisters in Islam,
Across the world, our fellow Muslims in Gaza, Syria, and Yemen face unimaginable hardships. Millions struggle with the devastating consequences of conflict, poverty, and hunger. Our duty to help one another becomes even more critical in these desperate times.
The Urgent Needs:
- Gaza: Decades of blockade have crippled Gaza's infrastructure. Shortages of food, water, and medicine plague the population. Rebuilding efforts after recent conflicts leave many families homeless.
- Syria: A brutal civil war has displaced millions, leaving a trail of destruction. The Syrian people desperately need food, medical care, and shelter.
- Yemen: Years of conflict have plunged Yemen into the world's worst humanitarian crisis. Millions face starvation, and essential services like healthcare are collapsing.
Responding to the Call:
The Quran and Hadith are reminders of our responsibility towards those in need.
- Allah (SWT) says in the Quran (2:177): "The righteous are those who believe in the unseen and establish prayer and spend (in charity) out of what We have provided for them."
- Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "Whoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him a grief of the Day of Judgement." ([Sahih al-Bukhari])
